ACFPA Member Picnic

ACFPA hosted another fun picnic on August 23, 2025. A whopping 155 members registered for the event, including 65 adults and 90 children!

As in previous years, Charles B., ACFPA First Vice President, handled the grill and served up delicious burgers and hot dogs. Participants brought delicious dishes to share, so there was plenty to eat and enjoy.

Candice K., ACFPA Fundraising Chair, led the kids through a series of games, complete with fun prizes.

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer day. It was a great opportunity for ACFPA members and the kids in their care to enjoy some sunshine, great food and networking time.

Easter Giveaway

As in with previous years, the ACFPA Easter Giveaway was a huge success. This year, instead of giving out ready made baskets, we gave out Easter Fixins! That means, goodies that could be added to an Easter basket.

The team handed out Easter Fixins to families who stopped by on April 19th during the event. A whopping 96 kids were served during this event.

Thank you to the ACFPA Board members and other volunteers who assisted with this event and a special thanks to Felicia and Rendy for leading the charge.

We hope everyone had a peaceful, fun Easter.

ACFPA Drawing

Thank you to all who participated in the ACFPA drawing for a one night stay at Great Wolf Lodge plus four passes for the waterpark valued at $450. Thank you also to many of our members, friends and supporters who used the opportunity to make donations to the ACFPA.

The drawing was held during the Appreciation Dinner on May 16th, 2025. The lucky winners were present at the event and were able to collect their certificates in person. We wish them a fun trip to the Lodge.

The donations collected during this drawing will be used to fund our many programs and offerings.

Thanks again to all of you who got the message out, donated and/or participated in this drawing. We couldn’t have done it without you.
