Dear ACFPA Families
Please let me introduce myself. My name is Taty Munoz and I am 15 years old. I live in Livermore Ca. with my Dad, Mom and two sisters. I am the oldest and am in 9th grade. I am also an avid softball player, girl scout and started my own baking business. I aspire to one day be a High Profile Criminal Detective and I am working hard to make my dreams a reality. I just wanted to give you a little background but there is more to me then these simple facts. I have been a Girl Scout for 11 years. I have completed my Bronze Award, My Silver Award and now am working on my Gold Award. This award is the highest achievable award within the Girl Scout Organization. It requires great planning, organizing, fundraising and commitment. It can take up to a year or more to obtain. This is probably the largest project I have ever embarked on thus far.
The reason I am writing this letter is to share with you about my Gold Award. My goal is to raise 5000-10,000$ to help fill up the Foster care resource closet that is being created in the Tri-Valley. With the great support of Light for his Kingdom Ministries and Alameda County Foster Parent Association, I believe this is very attainable. The foster care system is very close to my heart because I was once a foster kid. I was blessed to get a forever home when I was 10 months old. My 12 year old sister and 6 year old sister are also adopted. This closet will make a huge impact in the lives of many foster kids and foster parents. Any donations will help!
